How long will this boring transfer saga last?

Time and time again i find myself in the summer time doing absolutely nothing. With no football on, everything seems to be at a bit of a loss. When there's a world cup or Euro year, the media dont seem to get so uptight about every little 'rumour' that 'occurs'. Whatever happened to just let the clubs get on with their business?

I love the way that The Arsenal deal in transfers. If we are interested in somebody, its because the other clubs/players tell the media, we keep it quiet. We know how much the media (newspapers) can twist what is said to make articles. Arsene knows. Why dont other clubs conduct in the same manner? If we sign a player, it is announced on the website, and that is the only way you know that it is true.

No rubbish to do with Joey Barton, or anyone else for that matter. Yes, we may be interested in them, yes, they may say Arsenal are a top four side, but that does not mean we are INTERESTED in them? How many players have we seriously put offers in for? I doubt its as many as the papers say we have.

Lets look at this Cahill story. I feel as though we are waiting upon Bolton to say a price, and we will then say what we think. We are also waiting upon Chelski and City to say £20+ or whatever he's supposedly worth.

Arsene understands that football cant last much longer the way in which it is going. He is a genius, but people cant see that. They feel the need for trophies is the most important thing? Yes i agree, but for me, the ability to win them in style. To win them in our style. To win them, knowing that we've done it on our own accord. No money bag sheiks, no rich Rushki. We can win it properly. We can win it, Arsene's way.

I for one, want him to stay at Arsenal and get the job done. He will complete it. My only worry is if Usmanov or Kroenke want him out first, in which we will join the debted clubs such as City, Chelsea, United, Madrid and Barca.

Everyone, get behind Wenger and trust in his signings, because he knows what he is doing

In Arsene, We Trust.

Wigan Vs Arsenal

First off, we left early afternoon, thought that would give us enough time to get there and to enjoy a nice dinner somewhere, sounded fine, until that bloody M6 hits us again.

Every time we go up north, you think, this toll road is lovely and quiet, then as soon as the two M6's merge, its as if all that work, and miles you've travelled has been demolished by the traffic that lies ahead of you. So we plodded through, listening to the fancy sat nav saying only 6 miles left to do, blah blah blah...

Eventually we ended up in Wigan with under an hour. Walked through their nice shopping centre area, and found ourselves an Indian restaurant. We'd been here before and fell into the trap of them not serving alcohol again, yet again we had to last the day without a drop of drink. With the rush of the game on our minds, we needed the food quickly, which came at half 7. Now dont get me wrong, this was one of the finest Indians you will find, perhaps in the country, but with football needed to be watched, we rushed our meals, collected a free orange christmas hat from people outside, and we were off.

Not until the game started did we realise the demolition of the team Wenger had done. I can understand three or four changes, as then the rest can then be substituted later on in the game. But to make 8 changes, there has to be a massive problem there.

Although if the game was won, i'm sure everyone would have been saying what a manager Wenger is for what he did, but it backfired, so half of the blame has to be on him.

The other half has to lie on the players. All of them watched the game against Chelsea, but none of them knew how to defend ((excluding Wilshere who actually worked hard) along with Chamakh, who did his best upfront). The pressurising had dissapeared. That Barcelona-esque attitude had dissapperead, and it was as if it was a completly different team out there.

Overall, i feel as though we deserved to draw that game, never did we look good enough to deserve to win it, and plaudits to Wigan... They were never a dirty hoof the ball Northern team who enjoy a fight, they played their game, and wanted it more than we did. But this does not exclude how our team played.

With a quick clapping from only Nasri, Walcott and Bendtner, everyone was rushed into the tunnel, nice to see they enjoy and applaude our support. With a quick exit due to fear of our wheels being clamped, due to a new car parking area made by us, we rushed back home, to the nice and suprising welcome of some bread and cheese left out for us....

Delisiousooo.....
