Well, here we are, start of a new year and we feel obliged to have a new bank holiday. With Arsenal playing on saturday, and now the upcoming Weds, there really isnt much to talk about in terms of Arsenal.
The transfer window re-opens, and a few of our loanees are returning. Vito Mannone is returning from Hull, which makes it more likely for Almunia to dissappear to Spain, whereby no-one is ever to see or hear from him again (probably for the best). Ramsey is retuning too. Now, i dont know how many games he has played exactly, but i know it is very little. SO when he returns, i dotn expect him to be anywhere near match fit, a few substitute appearances just to please the crowd and that will be it for him. I'm looking forward to having back fit and ready to make a real contibution to next season.
Now then, moving onto something a bit more 'juicy'. But with the ever apparent of the transfer rumours of Vela leaving Arsenal, it has come to my attention that Bolton are interested in him, whether it be on loan or to buy, but one thing that has come to my attention, is the idea of Gary Cahill becoming part of a player and cash exchange. With Coyle placing a £20 million price tag on him, it sounds as if, if the right offer was to come in, then he would depart with Cahill. Now this is just an idea, but what if we were to say give Vela and £7 million? for Cahill.
Sound Fair?
Anyway, looking forward to tomorrrow, where there may be a bit mroe news on the Man City game, and a bit more information in general on transfer dealings.
